Keeping photos organised, adding text to life’s memorable moments, making and saving videos as timeline keepsakes….want to do it all easily in one app ? Footprint Memories is for you.

Your phone is now the key to record your memories second only to your brain. Footprint Memories is your brain on your phone. It’s your memory maker.

Your brain stores memories in ‘folders’ so you can go back to the folder to retrieve your memory. These folders are created in the app as Footprints. You select the Footprint and start taking photos. The app will store the photos against the Footprint allowing you to view your memory from the first photo through to the last whenever you want!

Footprint Memories has five easy to use functions:

Create your Footprints
• create multiple Footprints
• view your list of Footprints
• select a Footprint to perform the next four functions

Take Pic
• take photos at any time for a Footprint (portrait or landscape are catered for)
• add photos to a Footprint from your phone’s camera roll
• Footprint Memories app looks after its users. Photos are a record in time so are precious. The app will save any photo taken to your nominated Footprint and also to your camera roll. You can delete them from your camera roll without losing them from your Footprint.

View Footprint
• view all photos for a Footprint in chronological order
• make a video of your Footprint at any time that’s saved to your phone for you to share with the world
• play the video

Edit Footprint
• add text to each Footprint photo to make the memory stronger (the date and time when the photo was taken will be added for you)
• rotate any landscape photos taken
• edit your Footprint to remove any unwanted photos
• delete a Footprint if you don’t need it anymore (after you’ve saved a video first!)

Amend Footprint Details
• set reminders so the app reminds you to take your Footprint photo

A Footprint might be something you’re doing, somewhere you’re going, something you’ve created or something you’re growing. It might be a holiday, a renovation, painting a picture, a party or day out. Even recording a new pet as it grows, even your own child. Have a think of what YOU could use it for, its use is endless.

Footprint is intuitive and easy to use. Check out the screen shot previews to see how easy it is. Oh and it’s free!

Common English Mistakes of Japanese Learners
Common English Mistakes of Japanese Learners

Hi! My name is James Rogers. I’m a university professor with over 10 years teaching experience, and have used my PhD research and discoveries made by my over 30 member research team to provide learners with resources to help make language learning more efficient. I hope that you find them useful on your journey learning a foreign language.

This app presents the most common 200 mistakes Japanese students of English make. Every mistake was taken from a real mistake made by a Japanese learner. These were collected from over 80,000 words of student writings which were collected and analyzed to identify the common errors students make (this study was also published as a research paper as well). By mastering these 200 common errors, Japanese learners can significantly improve on their accuracy using English.

This app’s contents were written by myself and translated by university professor Mayumi Uchida, and is a collaboration with the best-selling app Flashcards Deluxe. This app features one of the most advanced Leitner algorithms on the market to help you learn more efficiently: you mark items you don’t know wrong and they come back more often, giving you the necessary exposure to master them. Items you mark correct don’t come back as often, so you don’t have to waste your time with items you already know. This method is proven by linguistics research to be the most ideal way to learn. This app also automatically sends all items you miss often to a special “tough item” folder to make it easy for you to concentrate on them. Also included is a custom quiz function which you can use and send your results to your teacher with via email.

We hope this app helps you to improve your English!...

General English for Koreans
General English for Koreans

Free
This flashcard app will help Korean learners master general English. It teaches the most common vocabulary and collocations of general English in the form of phrases. Included are over 2,000 phrases taken from James Rogers’ PhD research. This is a whole new way to study language that researchers agree is the most efficient. Research has shown this app to be linked to increases in TOEIC scores, and thus it will help you master general English.

By studying chunks, students are mastering the language the same way natives do. Through the chunks, students kill three birds with one stone by learning vocabulary, collocations, and indirectly through exposure to it in the chunks...grammar. Until now, nearly all materials still teach isolated vocabulary items and grammar separately but this has been shown to be very ineffective. Thus, is it clearly better to learn the way natives learn because this method obviously creates fluent speakers. Researchers have known this is the best way for years, but materials still don’t teach the language in this way because until now, there has been no large-scale chunk list to refer to. But now there is!

These contents are also special because in fact, there originally were over 11,000 chunks in this list. However, we translated them and chose only items that were said in different ways in Korean to an extent. Thus, we ended up with approximately 3,500 chunks. When something is said in a different way between two languages it is harder to learn, and students have a high chance of making an error when they try to say it. Therefore, by focusing on these 3,500 Korean learners can focus on the tough items and avoid making errors.
Audio for all the contents is included as well. Also included is a custom quiz function which you can use and send your results to your teacher with via email. This app also automatically sends all items you miss often to a special “difficult cards” folder to make it easy for you to concentrate on them. What’s more is it features one of the most advanced Leitner algorithms on the market to help you learn more efficiently: you mark items you don’t know wrong and they come back more often, giving you the necessary exposure to master them. Items you mark correct don’t come back as often, so you don’t have to waste your time with items you already know. This method has been shown to be the most ideal way to learn in linguistics research.

We hope our app helps you improve your English!
